![]() Pulmonary hypertension is classified into five groups, depending on the cause. These changes may slow down or block blood flow through the lungs, causing pulmonary hypertension. ![]() However, changes in the cells that line the pulmonary arteries can cause the walls of the arteries to become stiff, swollen and thick. The blood typically flows easily through blood vessels in the lungs (pulmonary arteries, capillaries and veins) to the left side of the heart. In the lungs, the blood releases carbon dioxide and picks up oxygen. Each time blood passes through the heart, the lower right chamber (right ventricle) pumps blood to the lungs through a large blood vessel (pulmonary artery). The typical heart has two upper chambers (atria) and two lower chambers (ventricles). The heart valves, which keep blood flowing in the right direction, are gates at the chamber openings. The lower chambers, the more muscular right and left ventricles, pump blood out of the heart. The upper chambers, the right and left atria, receive incoming blood. Because we are the manufacturer, we also have the flexibility of being able to provide customized solutions in certain circumstances, based on the exact application needs.A typical heart has two upper and two lower chambers. Our familiarity with exotic materials allows us to offer solutions for variables that are frequently hard to accommodate. We also offer other instrumentation that can handle excessive amounts of flow, pressure, and temperature. While KOBOLD offers a wide variety of instrumentation that meets most standard application needs, we are also able to meet extraordinary application needs that can be hard to find solutions for. INSTRUMENTATION ABOVE AND BEYOND THE STANDARD Because our models are both sophisticated and easy to use, they are very popular among end users. Our innovative instrumentation delivers that highest standards of service and can handle complex automated processes. Thanks to internationally recognized BUS interfaces, most of our models can be easily adapted into already established automated processes. Our technical solutions can be easily integrated into a wide variety of systems in many industrial sectors.
